Most sporting dog foods have fat levels of between 20 and 25%. With conventional dog food manufacturing techniques this is generally the maximum fat level that can be sprayed onto the kibbles. Inukshuk, however, is not produced with fat spraying, instead all fat and herring oil is applied through vacuum fat infusion, enabling us to achieve an industry leading 32% fat level.
